Danijel Gašparović is a Croatian pianist, cultural entrepreneur, and professor. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s studies in piano performance at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb, and continued his specialization at the University of Pécs in Hungary under Csaba Király. He is a laureate of numerous national and international prizes and a former City of Zagreb scholar.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed at festivals such as Les Nuits Pianistiques (France), Algarve Music Series (Portugal), Grosseto Piano Festival (Italy), Chopin Piano Fest (Prishtina), Ohrid Summer Festival, and many others across Europe. He is known for his performances in piano duo formations – both with his father Ljubomir and as part of the Kos-Gašparović duo.
Gašparović is the founder and artistic director of the Cristoforium Artistic Organization, which curates concert series, international competitions (in Croatia, Vienna, and London), and educational programs. As President of WPTA Croatia and co-founder of the Global Piano League (Singapore), he actively contributes to the international piano scene. He frequently serves as a jury member at competitions including Santa Cecilia (Italy), WPTA Spain (Madrid), Gothenburg IPC (Sweden), and Grand Piano in Palace (Russia).
He teaches at SUDIGO Zabok and collaborates with leading orchestras and institutions. With his father, he owns the most valuable private collection of historical pianos in Southeastern Europe – the Gašparović Piano Collection.
