Bojan Martinović is one of Montenegro’s leading pianists, educators, and cultural figures. Born in Cetinje in 1981 into a musical family, he studied under Vladimir Bočkarjov and completed his undergraduate and master’s studies with highest honors. He continued his education at the Summer Academy in Vienna and in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Bashkirov, Ovchinnikov, and Viardo.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed with orchestras including the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, and Camerata Academica, and collaborated with artists like Viktor Tretyakov, Roman Simović, and Marina Yashvili. His career spans performances in over 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Martinović is Professor of Piano and Vice Dean for the Arts at the Music Academy in Cetinje, and a member of the Scientific Council of the University of Montenegro. He has given masterclasses at major institutions such as the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), the University of Central Oklahoma, and the Conservatory “Giuseppe Tartini” in Trieste. He is a recipient of the CANU Award for the Arts and the University of Montenegro Honorary Plaque.
