Montenegro International Piano Festival and KNS Classical Collaboration Crowned with New CD Release by Grand Prix Laureate
Montenegro International Piano Festival proudly announces the release of a new CD in collaboration with the renowned record label KNS Classical, as a result of a strategic partnership representing one of the most significant segments of the Festival’s prize fund.
The album, titled “Divine,” was recorded by Faruk Kalayci, recipient of the Montenegro Grand Prix award at the second edition of the Festival. This professional recording, distributed internationally, forms part of an exclusive package awarded to the laureate of the Festival’s most prestigious recognition and confirms the clear mission of the Montenegro International Piano Festival – to provide young artists with tangible, long-term, and internationally relevant professional opportunities.
The collaboration with KNS Classical continues this year, further strengthening the Festival’s position as a platform that transcends the framework of competition and becomes a powerful mechanism for the promotion of young pianists on the global stage. We are exceptionally proud of the results of this partnership, which enables laureates to benefit from professional recording conditions, high production standards, and international visibility.
The Montenegro Grand Prix award represents the pinnacle of the Festival’s competitive segment and includes a carefully designed support package: a professional CD release, international concert engagements in cooperation with partner institutions, as well as a monetary prize. This award concept reaffirms the Festival’s commitment to investing in the genuine career development of young artists.
With the realization of this new release, we confirm the continuity and quality of the international partnerships the Festival is building, positioning Kotor and Montenegro as a relevant center of pianistic art and professional production in the region and beyond.
The Montenegro International Piano Festival continues to expand its network of collaborations in 2026, with a clear vision of providing young talents not only with a stage, but with a sustainable professional perspective.
Applications for this year’s masterclass and competition are now open, with the deadline set for May 1, 2026. We invite young pianists from Montenegro and abroad to become part of a festival that actively builds a bridge between talent and an international career.
