Rules of the Competition
MIPF 2024 PIANO COMPETITION
The piano competition on the frame of Montenegro International Festival will be held in Kotor (Montenegro), on August 26th and 27th, 2024.
The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
The accepted contestants will perform in alphabetical order, determined by a public draw.
The Competition reserves the right to authorize the recording and broadcasting of any of the Competition rounds.
Participants of Festival could participate by free.
External participants should pay a fee of 60 € by bank transfer, free of any charge for the receiver, before August 13th.
The Competition consists of First Round and Final Round
The categorie will be one from 16 to 32 years old.
FIRST STAGE
A performance of a maximum of 12 minutes containing a program of free choice
FINAL
A performance of a maximum of 20 minutes containing a program of free choice
PRIZES
FIRST PRIZE:
300 € and Diploma
Recital in Kotor, Montenegro
Participation at Vigo International Piano Competition 2025
60 percent reduction of tuition attendance at MIPF 2025
SECOND PRIZE:
150 € and Diploma
30 percent reduction of tuition attendance at MIPF 2025
THIRD PRIZE:
100 € and Diploma
20 percent reduction of tuition attendance at MIPF 2025
*A special prize will be awarded for the best performance of the Montenegrin piece, written by Montenegrin composer Senad Gačević
*100 € prize will be provided

The prizes may be shared.
The jury is not obliged to award all the prizes.
Their decision is final.
All grants and prizes shall be subject to taxes.
The award-winning pianists must collect their prizes personally in the Closing ceremony.
Organization may take decisions not contemplated in this rules.
